My dear fellow engineers,
It is my great privilege to serve the Institution of Engineers, Local Centre, Tirunelveli. Our local center is presently functioning with more than 500 members. Local centre is a platform to share your knowledge; we welcome all engineering professionals, corporate members and non-members who has deep understanding of new technological advancement. All engineering professionals, associated with the local centre are always welcome to the seminars, discussions and statuary day’s celebrations. I am expecting your fullest cooperation to do the best efforts to fulfill the aim of our local centre in this IEI Centenary Celebrations.

Secretary message
The Institution of Engineers (India) is the first statutory forum in India to promote Advanced Engineering and Technology. It was established in the year 1920 and it is a proud moment that The Institution of Engineers (India) celebrating its centenary year in the year 2020. The IE (I) encompasses nearly 15 engineering domains along with more than 2 lakhs corporate membership. The IE (I) has its national headquarters at Kolkata and it also running various overseas chapter. In order to promote and render service to engineering meadow IE (I) established more than 100 centre across India. The Institution of Engineers (India), Tirunelveli Local Centre was incepted in the year 2016 as an objective to aid as a knowledge center for the engineers around the Tirunelveli district. My Experience with IE(I) was started as peer member as MIE, years together of experience and service Now i am a Fellow in IE(I) (FIE). Based on that provided an opportunity to serve as The Joint Secretary for IE(I),Tirunelveli Local Centre during the year 2016-2018. As the IE(I) Tirunelveli Local Centre tremendously rendering it’s service. By the year of 2018 I elected as the secretary of the IE(I),Tirunelveli Local Centre. Our forum organizing various activities to bring the awareness and development in the field of Engineering and Technology. We pledged to fulfill the motto and ideology of the IE(I) to promote the awareness in the arenas of advanced engineering and technology. The Engineers make use of this forum and bring advancement to society in various ways.
